Ukraine’s Anti-Corruption Bureau detains chief of Lviv armor factory

Agents of the NABU, Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau detained Roman Tymkiv and Oleg Tkachenko, the chief and the deputy chief of Lviv armor factory. Zaxid.net reported that with a reference to the factory’s press service.

‘NABU officers detained our chief and deputy chief, Roman Tymkiv and Oleg Tkachenko; for the time being, I know nothing about the reasons of detention or any other details,’ said Herman Smetanin, the factory’s leading designer.

As of Friday noon, the law enforcement agency has not provided any comments on the reasons of detention.

Earlier, Ukraine’s Security Service, the SBU detained a high-ranked army officer, chief of the training ground in Yavoriv, Lviv region; the official is accused of collaboration with Russia’s military intelligence.
