Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Turkey Andriy Sybiga became Ambassador of the Year according to Buhara Medya Grup. QHA reports this.

Sybiga was honored for his active representation of Ukraine and Ukrainian culture in the Republic of Turkey, as well as for his personal contribution to the development of Ukrainian-Turkish relations.

Buhara Medya Grup Awards was held for the 10th consecutive year in 35 nominations, including Politician of the Year, Most Influential Female Politician of the Year, Leading Information Program of the Year, Federation of the Year, Project of the Year, Mayor of the Year and others. The awards are given to the most active and successful representatives in various fields, from politics to the arts.

As we reported earlier, the United States of America has given its prior consent (an agrument) to the appointment of Volodymyr Yelchenko as Ukraine's new ambassador to the United States. ZN.UA informed about this, citing its sources.

Yelchenko has been Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN since 2015. He is expected to be replaced by the current Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Serhiy Kyslytsia, who cooperates international organizations at the central office.

Presidential decrees on the appointment should be expected soon.
