Ambassador of Ukraine to the People's Republic of China Serhii Kamyshev has died at the age of 64. This was announced by the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba on Twitter.

"At the age of 65, Ambassador of Ukraine to China Serhii Oleksiyovych Kamyshev passed away. He was a well-known professional who made an outstanding contribution to the development of Ukraine's relations with Asia and the Middle East during a number of years of diplomatic work. Bright memory and sincere condolences to his relatives," Kuleba wrote.

Kamyshev became the country's ambassador to China in 2019. He previously also held this position in 2004-2009.

As we reported earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky provided more information about an intensification of cooperation between Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates.

It is reported that Ukraine is ready to adopt the advanced experience of the UAE in the field of artificial intelligence, renewable energy sources, in matters of infrastructure development.
