‘150 of these servicemen are now working at Yavorivsky firing range, western Ukraine; another 50 are working at a range near in Kamyanets-Podilsky town, training Ukrainian military engineers. Our goal is to increase Canadian military presence in Ukraine after 2017. I guess there are chances for the respective decision to be made by the Canadian side’, Ukraine’s ambassador in Canada Andriy Shevchenko said.

As is known, Canadian instructors contrinue training Ukraine's Armed Forces until late 2017, since top leaders of the countries extended the deadline during the recent negotiations in Kyiv and the visit of Canadian PM Justin Trudeau.
