Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba discussed with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein an increase in the volume of Ukrainian agricultural exports to this country. The meeting of the heads of diplomacy of the two countries took place on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum, the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported.
On Kuleba's initiative, a delegation of Ukrainian entrepreneurs will visit Iraq to look for new trade opportunities between the countries.
In this context, the Foreign Minister confirmed that Ukraine will remain a reliable guarantor of Iraqi food security - its important trading partner in the Middle East region.
Earlier the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that in the first five months of this year, Ukrainian exports increased by more than 25%.
