Ukraine wants to spend a meeting of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Kyiv in the next few years. This idea came from the Ukrainian delegation, which is currently on a visit to NATO headquarters. This was written on Facebook by the representative of Ukraine in the humanitarian subgroup at the Minsk talks Iryna Gerashchenko.

"They offered to hold a meeting Parliamentary Assembly in Ukraine. The schedule of major inter-parliamentary assemblies has been already formed for several years in advance, but the Ukrainian delegation will fight for the NATO Parliamentary Assembly session to be held in Kyiv in the coming years", Gerashchenko wrote.

According to Gerashchenko, Ukrainian MPs also proposed to hold public parliamentary hearings on the potential development of cooperation with NATO and Ukraine in March 2017.

"We will hold the interparliamentary talks Ukraine-NATO, which will be a good occasion to talk about the potential of our relationship in more detailed way", wrote Gerashchenko.
