A meeting of the Ukraine-U.S.strategic partnership commission at the level of foreign ministers will be held in Washington on November 16. This was stated by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko after a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron.
He noted that on November 10, he had a short meeting with US President Donald Trump, and Ukraine's Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin met with U.S. Secretary of State Michael Pompeo.
"We agreed to hold a strategic partnership commission in Washington on the level of foreign ministers on November 16. The commission was founded almost 10 years ago, and now it is time to resume its work as a symbol of the fact that the partnership between Ukraine and the U.S. is truly strategic," the president said.
We recall that the Special Representative of the U.S. State Department for Ukraine Kurt Volker plans to visit Ukraine in November, but the specific date of the visit has not been determined yet.
