Ukraine's Healthcare Minister Viktor Lyashko claims that his country and the U.S. could launch the joint production of vaccines. Lyashko posted that on Facebook after his meeting with US Charge d'Affaires in Ukraine Christina Quinn, Ukraine Country Director at Center for Disease Control and Prevention Ezra Barzilay, and the USAID partners in Ukraine.

"Embassy of the United States of America reports there is an opportunity of cooperation to supply and produce vaccines", Lyashko said.

He added that the Ukrainian authority intends to deepen partnership with American colleagues.

As of May 27, 107,524 people received the full course of the vaccination against coronavirus (two doses) in Ukraine as the Health Ministry of Ukraine reported. Thus, on May 26, 15,131 people were vaccinated. 4,998 people received the first dose; 10,133 people finished the immunization.

Since the beginning of vaccination, 992, 191 people got the dose; 992,189 people received the first dose; 107,524 finished the immunization. Totally, 1,099,713 doses of vaccine were inoculated.
