Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and Liz Truss, the Foreign Secretary of Great Britain coordinated the positions of their governments in terms of the Russian aggression and the forthcoming diplomatic talks. Press centre of Ukraine's Foreign Ministry reported that on January 4.
"Together we are moving steadily toward the implementation of a comprehensive package proposed by Ukraine in November to deter Russia from a new wave of war in Europe. The deterrence package includes political, economic and security levels. I am grateful for Britain's leadership in this process," Kuleba said.
Truss assured her colleague of the unwavering support for Ukraine in countering the Russian armed aggression, and noted her commitment to the principle of "no decisions about Ukraine without Ukraine". She also updated Kuleba on London's approach to Russia-NATO negotiations and consultations with the EU on new tough sanctions to deter Russia from further aggression.
