Ukraine to use aid of EU experts to build up independent gas transport system operator

National Joint Stock Company Naftogaz-Ukraine has involved EU energy experts to prepare the unbundling procedure in this country; it means that the specialists are supposed to advise the Ukrainian officials in terms of the development of the independent gas transport system operator. Andriy Kobolev, the head of Board of Naftogaz-Ukraine posted that on Facebook. 

According to him, Naftogaz, Ukrtransgaz and Magistral Gas Pipelines of Ukraine signed the contract about creating the workgroup with members of GRT Gaz S.A. (France), N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie (Netherlands), SNAM S.p.A. (Italy), Eustream a.s. (Slovakia) and Flyxys S.A. (Belgium).

Earlier on April 4, National Joint Stock Company Naftogaz-Ukraine and Wikborg Rein Advokatfirma AS (Norway) have signed a new contract worth 14 million dollars. It stipulates that the Norwegian law company will keep on providing legal services for the Ukrainian side in the litigations between the Ukrainian and the Russian gas companies.
