The vaccination of Ukraine's population against coronavirus infection will begin next week. This was announced by Health Minister Maksym Stepanov at a briefing.

"We plan to start vaccination next week. We are approaching this stage quite responsibly," Stepanov said.

He also noted that vaccination of the population would be carried out only with safe vaccines and urged Ukrainians not to trust fake reports.

"We vaccinate in conditions of insane shortage of vaccines worldwide... Vaccine standards are extremely high, I am confident in the safety of the vaccines. I appeal to every Ukrainian, mass vaccination is truly important. Ukraine will receive safe vaccines, do not trust fakes," said the minister.

As we reported earlier, the Health Ministry intends to start vaccinating residents of uncontrolled areas during the third stage of immunization - approximately in April 2021.

They will be able to get vaccinated at vaccination points in the territory controlled by Ukraine.

"They will have the same registration procedure as all other Ukrainians - through an online portal," said Viktor Lyashko, Chief Sanitary Doctor.
