‘There is a clear strategy we prepared… The whole treaty and law base with Russia will be gradually proceeded for sure… Certainly, the treaty regarding the Sea of Azov won’t work in the future. When are we going to do it? This is the question of clear strategy,’ the Minister claimed.
He also claimed that the Government had the proceeding plan of earlier concluded agreements with Russia. This plan will be gradually presented to the public by a single agreement or separate treaty package.
‘For instance, there are treaty packages regarding the basing of former Black Sea fleet. Many parliamentarians ask me, what would happen to them after the Constitution changes. When it is discussed I will say this, so Russian doesn’t use it to make our situation worse,’ the Head of the MFA said.
Reportedly, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko introduced the decision of NSDC on the termination of the Treaty of Friendship, cooperation, and partnership between Ukraine and Russia.
