Pavlo Klimkin, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister, stated that Ukraine had to reconsider its treaty and legal basis with Russia. He said it on air of ICTV in “Svoboda Slova” program.
“It cannot be done in one second, but it will be, as we cannot follow the treaty and legal basis which existed in the past reality,” the Minister said.
Commenting on the visa regime with Russia, the Minister noted that we should not just set a seal, but also control the process of the border crossing.
“If we introduce a visa regime, we need a biometric one. We should move in that direction step by step,” he added.
Earlier, Klimkin stated that the documents for termination of the Treaty on Friendship, Cooperation and Partnership with Russia are prepared and they will be soon passed for consideration.
Reportedly, Pavlo Klimkin, the Foreign Minister of Ukraine, stated that around 1 million Ukrainians leave Ukraine annually. He called this situation critical.
