Prime Minister Denys Shmygal said that Ukraine will receive 50 million euros from the EIB for vaccination. He stated this during an hour of questions to the government in the Verkhovna Rada.

"The resolution (on measures to fight against coronavirus - ed.) defines that we must vaccinate 40% from the state budget. We vaccinate everyone who wants to be vaccinated free of charge. I thank MPs for sufficient funds, namely 10 billion hryvnias (almost $36,5 mln) from the state budget, "Shmygal said.

In addition, Shmygal noted that there is an agreement with the World Bank.

"There is an agreement with the World Bank for $90 million, part of which will be used to purchase vaccines. We will receive another 50 million euros from the European Investment Bank for vaccination in the country," the Prime Minister added.

Earlier, Zelensky reported that Ukraine had contracted 45-47 million doses of vaccines.
