The Center for Public Health predicts that Ukraine will face the peak of the epidemic of viral diseases in late November. This was stated by the Director of Public Health Center Igor Kuzin in a comment to RBC-Ukraine.
"We expect the peak of the epidemic to be in late November because it is usually the peak period for all viral infections," Kuzin said.
According to him, outbreaks of SARS and coronavirus infection mostly occur in late November and then vanish during December, January.
As we reported earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that a strict lockdown would be introduced in Ukraine if the number of infected people per day exceeds 9,500.
"The situation will become critical for the medical system of Ukraine when there are more than 9,500 daily infections with coronavirus. If we have more than 9500 infected daily, we will be forced to introduce strict quarantine. But then the economy of our country will stop and it will be very difficult for everyone," he emphasized.
