The Ministry of Health is working on a draft resolution, which will extend the lockdown for another month. Ukraine’s Healthcare Minister Maksym Stepanov told about it in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.

"Our lockdown ends on July 31. The current epidemic situation does not allow us to abandon the restrictive measures. Therefore, we will continue," Stepanov said.

It was also stated that the lockdown would be extended for at least a month, but the Ministry of Health proposed to make adjustments to the restrictive measures.

As we reported earlier, the adaptive quarantine might be extended in Kyiv until 2022

“It can be (extended, - and not only in Kyiv but worldwide. The data confirmed by epidemics that each causative agent that formed in the world circulates until its leveling, in other words, until its destruction, 1.5 years. The restrictive measures and measures of defense might be extended for this whole period of time,” the Head of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection Oleh Ruban said.
