Ukraine to exchange confidential information with NATO

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed a bill #0144 about ratification of the administrative agreements concerning the information security with limited access between Ukrainian Government and NATO. 231 MPs voted in affirmative. 112 Ukraine broadcasted the session.

According to the explanatory note, the administrative agreements provide the equal partner relations in the process of the data exchange. The agreements obliged the sides to make the necessary arrangements to protect the information that was received during the exchange with limited access.

The ratification of these agreements aims to contribute the increase the effective collaboration between Ukraine and NATO.

During the work visit to Canada Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the leader of People’s Front stated that the main aim of Ukraine is to become a member of NATO.
