Ukraine could go for Plan B in the occupied Donbas and build the wall on the division line with these territories. Such scenario is possible if Russia refuses from peace during the Normandy summit in Paris. Andriy Yermak, the advisor of President Volodymyr Zelensky said so during his speech at Chatham House in London. Yevropeiska Pravda outlet quoted him as saying.
"If we don't see Russia's readiness to walk towards peace and live up to Minsk agreements, well, then we're going to build a wall - literally, not figuratively, and live on with it. We'll use the Israeli experience", Yermak said.
He insisted Ukraine was ready to do everything within its grasp to stop the war and reach peace by means of diplomacy. The official refused to reveal the entire Plan B on Donbas, because the Ukrainian delegation goes to Paris, wishing to agree on peace. But the negotiation process, he said, has a certain deadline, and Ukraine just can't wait for years.
