Ukraine, Spain agree on work of inter-parliament groups

Ukraine and Spain have agreed on the beginning of the work of the inter-parliament groups. Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine claimed this as 112 Ukraine broadcasted.

'The meeting here, in the parliament was very effective. Thank Mrs. Chairman of the Parliament (Ana Pastor) for the firm and consistent position of the support of Ukraine. We have agreed to begin the work of the inter-parliament groups', he noted.

Poroshenko added that he invited the Chairman of Spanish parliament to visit Ukraine.

'We have agreed that the meeting will take place in the second half of 2018', he specified.

The President of Ukraine noted that he has also raised an issue in the Spanish parliament on the recognition of Holodomor as the genocide of the Ukrainian nation and number of other bilateral and international cooperation.

As we reported the governments of Ukraine and Spain are finishing the preparation of the new bilateral agreement on social security, which will solve a series of issues of the protection of Ukrainians in Spain.
