Ukraine has to prove very strongly to the International Monetary Fund that we have no intention to return Ukrainian people to energy poverty again, Yuriy Boyko, the presidential candidate from the political force 'Opposition Platform-For Life', said this in the interview with 112 Ukraine.

“If they do not agree with this, then we should stop the coordination and seek for the other opportunities for finding money. As IMF has 92 programs in the world, 92 countries cooperated with IMF,” Boyko stated.

The presidential candidate has also outlined that the cooperation with IMF is a very important image—making issue under one condition.

“It will happen if in addition to the IMF payments the payments from other international financial institutions are added. And if the country did not take 50% loans from the IMF, and 50% from other financial institutions,” the politician said.

At the same time, according to Boyko, 33 countries had quick economic plummet because they had not abided by the IMF conditions; those countries worsen the economic and social situation. Eight countries even had revolutions after cooperating with the IMF.
