President Volodymyr Zelensky answered the reporter's question of whether Ukraine is preparing for the large-scale war with the Russian Federation. He said so during the press conference timed to the halfway mark of his time in office.

"I believe that there's such a chance every day, but I believe that there's an act of intimidation going on. I would like to instantly say this: certain media playgrounds keep intimidating us, saying that there will be a war tomorrow. What should we know? We are in full control of our borders and we're totally ready for any sort of escalation", the president said.

Zelensky claimed that the Ukrainian partners provide all sorts of assistance amidst the threat of Russian invasion, but Ukraine should, first of all, rely on its own forces.

Earlier, Oleksiy Danilov, the Secretary of National Security and Defense evaluated the information about possible information that came from the Chief of the Main Intelligence Department of Ukraine's Defense Ministry Kyrylo Budanov. He claimed that Russia plans to attack Ukraine this winter.

According to him, the question of war "remains up to date", and Ukraine should be ready for this. But the Council has been collecting and analyzing data about the situation on the border, and he does not see any threats that Budanov talked about.

Besides, Ukraine's Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov believes Russia is not going to bomb Ukraine because it actually wants to capture this country.
