Ukraine needs to continue the talks on Donbas conflict solution in all the possible formats that are there now. And that includes the Normandy Format, too. Andriy Yermak, the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine said so as quoted by Ukraine 24.
According to Yermak, it is currently not clear what kind of talks could bring peace to Ukraine.
"Currently, the entire team of President Zelensky keeps on working. It is critical that we understand we need to keep working in all directions and formats. We don't know yet what kind of format eventually brings the long-anticipated peace to Ukraine", he said.
On April 26, President Volodymyr Zelensky offered to extend the Normandy format to seven countries - with the U.S., Canada and the UK. The Ukrainian leader also offers to change the venue of Minsk talks.
