Ukrainian ambassadors should see to it that Ukraine receives first batches of vaccine from Covid-19 in January. President Volodymyr Zelensky said so during this speech at the vide conference of leaders of foreign diplomatic offices of Ukraine, says press department of the presidential office. 

"Currently, it is crucial to provide Ukraine with licensed anti-coronavirus vaccine, and, most importantly, it should be of high quality. The state leadership, diplomatic corps, workers of Ukrainian special services are now working on it. This is the path that all countries are walking; and this is what we should be doing, too", the president said.

12,047 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Ukraine over the last 24 hours. This was announced by Health Minister Maksym Stepanov on his Facebook page.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 931,751 cases of Covid-19 have been registered in Ukraine: 548,356 patients have recovered (+12,939 per day), 15,996 people (+252 per day) have died from complications caused by the disease.
