President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic agreed on the further liberalization of the visa regime as the press service of the Ukrainian leader reported.

"Within the working visit to Turkey, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko held the meeting with the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic….The sides agreed on the further liberalization of the visa regime and developments of the contacts between people," the message said.

It is noted that the leaders discussed the activation of the political dialogue and strengthening of the economic side of the bilateral relations.

"In this context, the importance of the holding of the next session of the Intergovernmental Commission on trade-economy cooperation was noted as well as the feasibility of the continuation of the practice of the organization of the bilateral business forums," the message said.

Moreover, the presidents paid attention to the cooperation within the international organizations, interaction in the humanitarian sphere and agreed on the importance of the strict observance of the sovereignty and territorial integrity principles.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko pays a working visit to Turkey where he should hold a number of the meetings.

Earlier Vucic claimed that Serbia did not recognize Crimea as a part of Russia because it would mean the support of the independence of Kosovo. At the same time, Vucic reminded that in 2014 Belgrade did not support the sanctions against Moscow, however, it clearly states about its European ambitions.
