Ukraine sends letter to OSCE amid ceasefire violations in Donbas

Today, on December 4, Donbas militants violated the ceasefire by carrying out attacks with the use of artillery and a mortar in the area of Vodiane. The Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) sent a letter to the OSCE observation mission. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian delegation.

"Tonight, on December 4, a gross violation of the ceasefire was recorded in the area of Vodiane (Mariupol)," the statement said.

It is reported that the enemy applied 122-mm artillery (13 shells) and a 120-mm mortar (six mines).

As we reported earlier, Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) claims that a shooting incident took place on the border with Ukraine.

According to its statement, the firefight occurred between the Russian Border Guards and the illegal migrants who tried to enter Russia. 

"Three armed unidentified individuals tried to breach the border from Ukraine to the Russian Federation, which was denied by the border guard unit. Upon the attempt to apprehend them, the culprits resited, resorting to the use of firearms," reads the message.
