Kyiv and Moscow refused from mutual claims in terms of gas negotiations. The sides agreed to zero these claims on January 1. Aleksandr Novak, the Russian Energy Minister said so as quoted by RIA Novosti news agency

The parties will refuse from the lawsuits, where there are no decisions yet. It became a part of the protocol on the gas cooperation, which was signed on December 20.

In order to continue the gas transit across Ukraine, Russia's Gazprom company will sign an inter-operator agreement with GTS Operator of Ukraine; the company will also make a deal with Naftogaz-Ukraine, to book the transportation facilities. Next year, the Russian side plans to book the facilities for the transit of 65 billion cubic meters of gas. In 2021-2024, Gazprom plans to transit 40 cubic meters of gas annually, as long as the competitive price is set.

Gazprom also agreed to pay Naftogaz 2.9 billion dollars under the decision of Stockholm arbitrary court. The sides will sign a peace agreement, which foresees that the anti-monopoly claims worth 7.4 billion dollars will be lifted.
