Representatives of the occupation authorities of the unrecognized Donbas republics DNR / LNR handed over lists for the exchange of prisoners to Ukraine. This was stated by Tetyana Ivanova, a member of the Ukrainian delegation in the humanitarian subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG), on the air of Ukraine 24.

It is noted that the Ukrainian side handed over its lists for the exchange of prisoners in winter.

"All this time, Ukraine insisted that the lists from the ORDLO be transferred to us. For a very long time, these lists were not transferred, and in April of this year we still received these lists. Now we are working with them, they are being clarified. This finally happened, and this is a very significant step, which gives hope that we will get to the point that the exchange will take place," said Ivanova.

However, a representative of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG said that it is not yet known how many Ukrainians can be released from the occupied territory.

Ukrainian Ombudsman Lyudmyla Denisova said that the number of Ukrainians who are in captivity in the illegally occupied territories of Crimea and Donbas is constantly growing and currently stands at 376 people.
