“We are ready to hold a meeting of foreign ministers in the Normandy format. We hope that Lavrov (Russian Foreign Minister - ed.) will also constructively and conscientiously approach this meeting. We will also work on the Normandy format summit," noted Kuleba.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that there is no progress in the Normandy format yet. At the same time, he noted that pressure from other countries should remain on the Russian Federation.
At the same time, German Chancellor Angela Merkel noted the stagnation in the Normandy format and called for the resumption of meetings within its framework.
Earlier, as part of a military parade dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence, military aircraft flew over Kyiv. It included planes and helicopters from NATO member states. The parade was broadcast by Pershiy Nezalezhniy TV channel.
Among the planes of other countries in the sky over the capital were seen:
- Polish multipurpose fighters F-16;
- Slovak UH60 Black Hawk helicopters and C-27 Spartan transport aircraft;
- British Eurofighter Typhoon fighters.
