Ukraine-Qatar visa free regime takes effect

The citizens of both countries can enter, stay, leave and pass by transit the territory of the state of another side without the visa if the continuation of their stay does not exceed 90 days in 180 days term

Ukraine-Qatar visa free regime took effect on Friday, November 2. The Consulate Service of Ukraine's Foreign Ministry reported this on Facebook.

According to the regulations of the agreement, the citizens of Ukraine who use the Ukrainian foreign passports and the citizens of Qatar who use the usual passport can enter, stay, leave and pass the territory of the state of another side without the visa if the duration of their stay does not exceed 90 days over the 180 days-long period.

At the same time, the citizens of Ukraine and Qatar who intend to enter the territory of the country of other side for the term exceeding 90 days, regardless the aim of their trip, should get the visa in the diplomatic office or consular establishment of the state of other side before the entering of the territory.

It is noted that the passports of the travelers should be acting for at least six months since the date of the entering to the territory of another state.

The document about the mutual visa cancelation was signed in March 2018.
