The meeting of Deputy Head of President’s Office Ihor Zhovkva and Head of the Cabinet of the President of Poland Krzysztof Szczerski took place on November 5 in Lviv, western Ukraine. The sides defined the priority directions of further cooperation between the states as the President’s Office reported.
The officials discussed the steps of the states on the implementation of the agreements of the presidents of Ukraine and Poland reached on August 31. Moreover, Szczerski expressed support to Ukraine in its European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations. He also told about inner changes in Poland after parliamentary elections. Besides, he noted that Poland is ready to assist in the restoration of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine in the future.
Ukrainian and Polish diplomats discussed the commemoration of common historical memory, discussed the schedule of the negotiations between the states and agreed to strengthen the strategic partnership of two states.
As we reported President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the new constitution of Ukrainian part of the Consultation Committee of the presidents of Ukraine and Poland.
