The Ukrainian government intends to create a system of digital accounts for patients. This was stated by Health Minister Maksym Stepanov during a briefing.
"First of all, we want to implement a digital account for each patient, in particular with its integration with the Diya application, which will allow him to have access to his digital medical card," Stepanov explained.
It will also provide patients with an opportunity to submit declarations to their doctor online and provide access to their own data.
"The patient's account will contain all information about you. When you come to the doctor's office, he logs in your account and immediately sees all the data collected there," added the official.
According to Stepanov, the Ministry of Health also wants to get rid of paper sick certificates and apply electronic ones.
As we reported earlier, on January 1, Ukraine officially launched the Unified State Information System For Organ and Tissue Transplantation.
It is believed that the systemic development of transplantation in Ukraine would be impossible without it.
