Ukraine filed an application to the PACE, offering the Assembly to hold the debates on non-recognition of the Russian presidential election in the annexed Crimea. Vice President of the PACE, head of the Ukrainian delegation Volodymyr Ariev said that at a briefing.

According to the official, the respective debates may be held during the April session of the Assembly in Strasbourg.

Previously, the EU did not recognize the outcome of the presidential election in the Russian-occupied Crimea. He urged the international community to look into the messages about violations of voting procedure from the international observers.
