Ukraine observes decrease in Covid-19 incidence for last five weeks, - President’s Office

In recent weeks, the number of patients with coronavirus infection in Ukraine has been declining and the number of those recovered has been increasing. This was reported by the press service of the President's Office.

"Prime Minister Denys Shmygal said that 22,802 people were hospitalized, and five weeks before there had been an average of 28-29,000 patients," the statement said.

At present, 50,409 beds with oxygen connection are deployed for coronavirus patients.

It is noted that the country is also experiencing a decrease in the incidence of pneumonia.

As we reported earlier, UK Ministry of Health will allow people to receive shots of different Covid-19 vaccines on rare occasions.

“(If) the same vaccine is not available, or if the first product received is unknown, it is reasonable to offer one dose of the locally available product to complete the schedule,” stated in the guidelines.

People can be given a mix-and-match of two Covid-19 shots, for example, if the same vaccine dose is out of stock.
