The participation of Joe Biden's administration in possible solution to Donbas conflict will be one of the main topics for discussion during the visit of President Volodymyr Zelensky in the USA. Dmytro Kuleba, Ukraine's foreign minister reported that as cited by RBC-Ukraine.
According to Kuleba, this matter will be up to a discussion. He added that the Ukrainian side wants to get the U.S. involved in solution of the Donbas conflict and de-occupation of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky repeatedly claimed his intention to have the U.S. join the Normandy negotiation format, which could help Kyiv settle the conflict in Donbas. However, the US Department of the State believes otherwise.
Ukraine's President and his wife Olena Zelenska arrived in the U.S. on August 31.
