Ukraine issued the aviation notice, shifting the coordinates of hazardous areas for civil aviation in relation to military exercises on the administrative border with the occupied Crimea on December 1. This was reported by the press service of the Air Force of Ukraine on Facebook.
It is reported that the dangerous area in the northwestern part of the Black Sea has been reduced.
According to the report, Ukraine’s Armed Forces have conducted all security measures and calculated all possible risks.
In turn, the Russian Federation Air Transport Agency said that the new boundaries of hazardous areas are shifted to the west waters, which in Russia are considered as their territory in connection with its annexation of the Crimea, reports Interfax.
At the same time the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation noted that the new danger zones do not affect the route for which the flights to Simferopol run.
"That corridor, which comes to Krasnodar and Anapa, and then west to Simferopol does not overlap the area of military drills", the department reported.
Earlier this week, Ukraine has established a dangerous zone in the airspace over neutral waters of the Black Sea and partly over the disputed territorial waters to the southwest and southeast of the Crimea (about 11-18 km from the neutral waters).
