Ukraine-Malta trade turnover grows by 64 percent in six months, - Poroshenko

Over the first six months of 2017, the total trade turnover between Ukraine and Malta grew by 64 percent. President Petro Poroshenko said this at the briefing after the Tuesday meeting with his Maltese colleague Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca.

As the meeting took place within Ukraine-Malta business forum, the President spoke about opportunities for developing bilateral cooperation. ‘Our trade and investment partnership has big prospects for development. During this forum, we also discuss how to increase the bilateral cooperation in the IT and communication services’, he posted on Facebook.

Poroshenko also urged Maltese businessmen to invest more and start new projects in Ukraine.
