The governments of Ukraine and Israel are discussing the mutual recognition of passports of vaccination from coronavirus. The press office of Ukraine's Embassy in Israel reported that on March 9.

"The Embassy of Ukraine in Israel is actively negotiating about the mutual recognition of vaccination passports from Covid-19. Today, it's not about the names of vaccines and their manufacturers. It's about the dialogue between the two countries. These talks can be described as successful already, as they are underway now. Ukraine is among the first European countries that have an opportunity to make the deal happen", reads the message.

In case of success, borders may be mutually open for citizens of both countries, Ukraine's Embassy says.

"We can say that the Israeli side can be interested in it, as long as it concerns the opportunity to provide the annual pilgrimage of Hasidim to Uman. In turn, Ukraine also has an opportunity to open the borders with Israel", reads the message on the Facebook page of the Ukrainian authority.
