Ukraine, Israel discuss signing of agreement on free trade

Head of the administration of Ukraine's president Ihor Rainin and Ecology Minister of Israel Ze'ev Elkin have discussed the practical step for the acceleration of the signing of the agreement for the free trade between two states as the press service of the Ukrainian leader reported.

"During the negotiations, the high level of the political dialogue between Ukraine and Israel and close coordination of two countries at the international stage were noted. The sides noted the growth of the trade-economic cooperation between Ukraine and Israel and discussed the practical steps of the acceleration of the signing of the agreement for the free trade between two states," the message said.

Elkin thanked the Ukrainian authority for the efficient actions for the provision of the possibility to Israeli citizens to visit the Jewish holy sites in Uman and other cities of Ukraine.

Rainin also invited the Israeli side to participate in the celebration of the 27th anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine and in the work of the 10th international economic investment forum that will take place in Kharkiv on September 28.
