Ukraine is not ready for compromises relating to territorial integrity. Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov during the meeting with Secretary-General of the Council of Europe Marija Pejčinović Burić, as the press service of Ukrainian Parliament reported.
Razumkov noted that returning of the Russian Federation's delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe remained unacceptable for Ukraine.
"We also do not understand the situation with the authorities of our delegation. I hope it will not become a precedent. We are ready for the dialogue but not ready for the compromises with our conscience, territorial integrity and people's dignity," the Chef of the Verkhovna Rada emphasized.
He added that the Baltic plus group is not seeking for a destructive position in the Council of Europe.
"We are determined to fight for the principles and values, which were established during foundation of the organization. As the principles of democracy, freedom and human rights are the key ones both for Europe and Ukraine," Head of the parliament summarized.
