Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that Ukraine is not in the mood to resolve the conflict in Donbas by force. The minister announced this in an interview with the German newspaper Zeit.

“Some countries, unfortunately, are leaning towards the Russian narrative that Ukraine cannot be armed, because this somehow encourages us or prompts us to take any military action... We did not attack anyone and are not going to solve the problem on Donbas by military means. Therefore, we will continue to try, because we strive for peace, stability and security for Ukraine and all of Europe. We desperately want to avoid a military scenario, because this time there would be much more bloodshed, "Kuleba said.

He also noted that there is no alternative to the Minsk agreements yet.

Kuleba also named the reasons that restrain the Russian Federation from attacking Ukraine. According to him, this is a complex of sanctions or restrictive measures, a clear political message and military support for Ukraine.

Politico published satellite images of the movement of Russian troops made by the American space technology company Maxar Technologies, headquartered in Colorado. The image allegedly confirmed information that Russia is again concentrating troops and military equipment on the border with Ukraine.

Later, United States intelligence revealed Russia's plans for a possible military invasion of Ukraine, which could occur in early 2022. We are talking about several scenarios: from the annexed Crimea, across the border from Russia and through Belarus.

Russia, in turn, denies information about a possible attack on Ukraine. According to the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, Russia poses no threat to anyone.

At the same time, the EU representative for foreign affairs and security policy Josep Borrell warned that in the event of an aggravation of the situation on the borders of Ukraine, the EU would not be able to support Kiev with troops.

A few days ago, analysts from the Russian Conflict Intelligence Team confirmed that Russia continues to transport military equipment to the border with Ukraine.
