Ukraine is disturbed by the shelling of the Gaza Strip and retaliatory strikes. It calls on the parties to de-escalate. Foreign Ministry speaker Kateryna Zelenko stated this in a comment to the Ukrainian News outlet.
“Ukraine is watching with concern the development of the situation related to rocket attacks on the territory of the Gaza Strip and IDF attacks in response,” she noticed.
She also stresses that shelling of the civilian population is unacceptable and the parties must ensure de-escalation to protect the civilians.
On November 12, in Gaza, the IDF targeted the northern wing leader of the Al-Quds Brigade (Islamic Jihad) Baha'a Abu al-Ata and his wife. After liquidation, dozens of rockets were fired from Gaza to the Israel territory.
As we reported earlier, at a meeting with the US Jewish organizations, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky claimed the topic of anti-Semitism in Ukraine to be "a provocation."
