The latest developments in the Donbas conflict became one of the topics discussed by Ukraine and Canada in Brussels on Thursday.
Defense ministers Stepan Poltorak and Harjit Sajjan met in the Belgian capital for negotiations on certain issues. The two officials talked through the ongoing military actions in eastern Ukraine; Poltorak also said his country is interested in buying military vehicles from Canada next year.
The Ukrainian minister also joined the meeting of NATO ministers and held a number of bilateral meetings at the Alliance’s HQ in Brussels.
Besides, Stepan Poltorak invited his Canadian counterpart to visit Ukraine in August during the solemn events timed to the Independence Day in Ukraine (August 24, - 112 International).
