Ukraine is interested in attracting Amazon to its market. This was announced by Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan during a meeting with the leadership of the US Postal Service - Director of International Cooperation Peter Chandler and Development Manager Silvia Baylis. The meeting was held as part of the working visit, the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure reports.

"Ukrainians order goods from all over the world, the demand for goods is growing, but delivery remains an urgent issue. We are interested in bringing Amazon, the world's largest company selling goods and services via the Internet, to Ukraine. There is a demand, but there is no direct solution for delivery," Omelyan said.

He invited his American colleagues to consider the possibilities of cooperation between Ukrposhta and the US Postal Service. In particular, Omelyan proposes to sign an agreement that will provide special tariffs and services for US companies supplying goods to Ukraine.

"We need a joint commercial impetus for the development of this segment, Ukrposhta (Ukrainian postal office) is ready to offer the best commercial conditions and marketing support," the minister said.

Representatives of the US Postal Service expressed their willingness to develop this question.
