At the meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group, the Ukrainian delegation stressed the need to fully restore Ukrainian legislation in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as to restore taxation and settlement systems within the Ukrainian legal field. It was reported by the press service of the President's Office.
It is also reported that the work of the socio-economic group was also discussed during the meeting. In particular, the Ukrainian delegation stressed the need to conduct an inventory of public and private property in the temporarily occupied territories of Donbas. Namely, the state of enterprises of all forms of ownership, including branches of banking institutions.
Representatives of Ukraine also insisted on ensuring the operation of mobile communications by Ukrainian operators in these territories, emphasizing that it is primarily a matter of meeting humanitarian needs.
Ukraine considers water supply to consumers of Luhansk region to be extremely important.
The Ukrainian delegation stressed that the issue of ecology was important for Ukraine and reaffirmed its readiness to discuss this issue during the next consultations of the socio-economic group.
As we reported earlier, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba reported his readiness to discuss the date of the next summit in Normandy Format with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.
