US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is satisfied with the cooperation with Ukraine in the UN and called it a reliable partner in the UN Security Council. This was reported by the  speaker of the Ukrainian mission in the UN Oleh Nikolenko after the meeting of Ukraine's permanent representative to the United Nations Volodymyr Yelchenko with Tillerson, Ukrinform reports.

Nikolenko also said that the US Secretary of State expressed satisfaction with the latest contacts with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin.

"For his part, Volodymyr Yelchenko thanked Rex Tillerson for unchanging solidarity with Ukraine, primarily in the UN Security Council," the diplomat added.

In addition, according to him, Yelchenko held a meeting with British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson.

From the British side, there were also positive assessments regarding the interaction with Ukraine, said Nikolenko.
