Ukraine entered the top five of countries spreading misinformation on Facebook. This is mentioned in the company's report.
Facebook claims that Russia, Iran, Myanmar, the U.S. and Ukraine initiate most of the misinformation operations - both in these respective countries and abroad.
Since 2017, Facebook experts have detected such campaigns in more than 50 countries. The report closes books on 150 operations on misinformation.
According to the analysis, Russia was the world's largest supplier of misinformation, with 27 influence operations observed within four years. Iran came second, with 23 such operations. Ukraine closes the top five list, with five operations; three of them were launched by PR agencies, and two more by political parties.
Most popular targets for such informations were the U.S., Ukraine, Great Britain, Libya and Sudan.
