Ukraine hosts international naval drills in Black Sea

British, Romanian and Turkish vessels join the PASSEX exercise held under NATO standards

Naval ships of NATO member countries and Ukraine take part in the PASSEX, NATO-level exercise, which is conducted in the Black Sea waters. The press service of the Ukrainian Navy reported that on Facebook.

British destroyer Duncan, Turkish frigate Yildirim, Ukraine’s Hetman Sagaidachny and Romanian R.Ferdinand practiced in joint actions within NATO standards. The Ukrainian frigate took aboard Ka-27 helicopter, while helicopter crews trained to land on vessels.

The exercise also includes tactical maneuvers.
