President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine had zero tolerance for corruption. He stated this during his speech to the Verkhovna Rada, the online broadcast was conducted by 112 Ukraine TV channel.
“In fact, you know, there is another area that can and should fill the state budget of Ukraine. It is an effective fight against corruption. My program does say ‘not to fight corruption, but to get a victory over it.’ However, there are suspicions that law enforcement agencies have not read that slogan thoroughly and perceive only the first part - 'not to fight corruption.' I am going to be honest, frankly, I am tired of it. We have zero tolerance for corruption," Zelensky stated.
The Ukrainian leader noted that Ukraine had created all the conditions to fight corruption.
As we reported earlier, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) uncovered a multimillion corruption scheme used during the procurement of inventory items for repair of passenger rolling stock of Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian railways).
