Ukraine was paid the first fine for the violation of the air space within annexed Crimea as ArmiaInform reported.

Kazakh Euro-Asia Air Company paid the fine.

“On August 8, 2019, the aircraft of Kazakh joint-stock company Euro-Asia Air Company performed the flight within the banned zone over the occupied peninsula. Then the State Aviation Service handed down a ruling on imposing of the fine for the violation of the civilian aviation dated November 7, 2019,” the message said.

Unlike the Russian air companies, which perform about 100 flights in Crimea daily and do not pay the fines persistently, Kazakh airlines admitted their guilt and paid these funds voluntarily. As the result of it, $5,865 were paid to the state budget of Ukraine.

The sums of the fines for the violation of the air space of Crimea by the civilian aircraft of the Russian air companies have reached the sum of $560,569 and the number of violations surpassed the number of 200,000.

As we reported, Ukraine allowed the plane of the Russian air company to temporarily use the air space in Lviv region. The pilots of the Russian Globus Air Company's Boeing-738 REG–VQBMG appealed to Ukraine for permission to enter the air space. They were on their way from Bari to Moscow. They could suffer a big storm and tried to avoid it.
