Leaders of the states held telephone conversation on April 3

Petro Poroshenko, Angela Merkel and Francois Hollande discussed the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine and prospects of Minsk agreements. Press service of the Ukrainian leader reported that on Monday.

‘President Poroshenko condemned the continuing Russian aggression, carried out by both the regular army and pro-Russian militants. The parties admitted it was necessary to adhere to the ceasefire regime. The President insisted on the necessity to release all prisoners in the occupied Donbas and Russia. Leaders of the states marked it is vital to continue to implement Minsk agreements,’ reads the message.

The Ukrainian leader thanked his French and German counterparts for their support in introducing the EU visa free regime for Ukrainian citizens.
